City walks

Take a relaxed walk through the Old Town, explore the architecture and visit the shops.

Then continue through the Gründerzeit (late 19th century) districts starting from Postplatz: stroll along Jacobstraße, Konsulstraße, and Augustastraße – with Wilhelmplatz in the center, ideal for relaxing in spring and summer.

Dieser führt von der Peterskirche zum Heiligen Grab mit folgenden Stationen:

Station 4 „Stärkung mit Tränenbrot“ Aufnahme Motiv aus den Psalmen beim Jesus-Bäcker

Station 5 “Jesus ermahnt die Frauen von Jerusalem“ hierhin gelangt man durch die Lunitz einem kanalisierten Bach auch Kidronbach genannt
Station 6 “Jesus wird seiner Kleider beraubt” am Eingang des Heiligen Grabes

Landskrone

Mit der Straßenbahn vom Demianplatz gelangt man zur Landskrone einem ehemaligen Vulkan auf dem sich ehemals auch eine Burg befand, von hier hat man einen schönen Blick auf Görlitz und Umland.

Berzdorfer See

Der Berzdorfer See bietet Bademöglichkeiten aber auch Fahrradtouren an, mit dem Fahrrad gelangt man am besten mit wenig Straßen über die polnische Seite nahe der Uferpromenade, um wieder über die Neiße zu kommen muss man bis ca. Radomierzyce fahren, gelangt dann auf deutscher Seite parallel zur Bundestraße wo man diese queren kann (Kreisverkehr oder Friedenstraße). Quasi auf dem Wege befindet sich für Kunstinteressierte auch ein Frühwerk von Gerhard Richter an einer Häuserfassade Ecke Karl-Marx-Straße/Robert-Koch-Straße.
